Ryan Gosling is preparing to spend some time in Sydney.
The Blade Runner 2049 actor, 41, is heading Down Under to film his latest big budget action film, The Fall Guy, this year according to the Daily Telegraph. The film is set to ‘inject some $244 million into the Australian economy,’ according to the newspaper.
The movie, based on a 1980s TV series, is about a film stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter when movie work is slow.
The production will receive $30 million grant as part of the federal government’s Location Incentive Program and is expected to shoot in Sydney and rural NSW, with an additional $15 million to be provided by the NSW government.
According to the newspaper, The Fall Guy is to be produced by the same team that brought Julia Roberts and George Clooney to Queensland to shoot Ticket To Paradise last year.
Production is tipped to start in spring.
